Have damaged LiI(Eu) tubes. Trying to make one of them work or might transplant crystal to known working PMT
ZnS(Ag) mentioned several times. Looks like you can get it on eBay pretty easily
Organic scintillator
Need to make list of whats an acceptable material
Will any do? I imagine some are better than others for neutrons
